Thai Lettuce Wraps

I love Thai food so I whipped this up one night to satisfy that craving without sabotaging my healthy eating! It's quick and full of flavor which makes it perfect for a family style dinner!
Ingredients
*1.5 pounds Ground Chicken Breast or Ground Turkey Breast
*Butter Lettuce
*2 Tablespoons minced garlic
*2 Tablespoons minced ginger
*1/2 medium yellow onion
*1/2 cup basil(chopped)
*Siracha chili hot sauce
*1 medium jalapeño
*1/2 cup Bamboo Shoots
*1/2 cup Bamboo Shoots
*2 limes
*Olive Oil(adjust to your macros)

*Peanuts or cashews(optional)
Directions
Add Olive oil to skillet and saute onions until translucent(about 5 minutes). Add add garlic, ginger,jalapeno and cook for another 1-2 minutes. Be careful not to burn the garlic!
Add your ground meat of choice and cook through(about 8-10 minutes). Once meat is almost cooked add basil, siracha, lime, bamboo shoots and nuts. Stir to combine-
Add meat mixture to lettuce cups and enjoy!

Yum! These sound delish! I haven't made lettuce wraps in forever, you've inspired me! I think we should make these for our next girls night dinner!
